About Mallory.

Black and white portrait of someone in dark sweater smiling at camera.

In highschool I started to become deeply sentimental.

As I experienced some of my first tangible "lasts," I started to take lots of photos and videos. That’s when I first felt a passion for documenting. I wanted my memories to be captured in a way that helped me go back again... to remember the feelings, the laughs and the stories as they were.

We all have memories. Those memories turn into stories and our stories make us who we are. Everyone deserves to have their life documented. I want to create work that helps you to remember exactly what your best memories, felt like.

My husband and I were married in 2021 and we now live in a small town just north of Delaware, Ohio called Waldo. Shortly after buying our house, we adopted a 6 year old Irish Setter named Willie. We love living here. We are deeply communal and love hosting friends in our space. Our favorite days are filled with our friends and family, nieces and nephews.

Paul and I have loved Jesus our whole lives and have a passion for ministry. We love our church, which is also deeply rooted in community.

I love rainy, cozy days and tea. I love home videos! They are my favorite to watch and create. I love Bon Iver, Coldplay, The Killers, Gregory Alan Isakov and a whole lot more. My favorite shows are "This is Us" and "The Office." Paul and I love movies... "About Time," "Good Will Hunting," and the 2019 version of "Little Women" are some of my favorites.

I have a true passion for documenting, and it is a honor to be thought of  to capture someone else's memories. I am blessed and so thankful to create something for you that you can keep close to your heart.

Always,

Pieces of my story.

Last September, my husband and I visited Greece with his family who have ancestors from Stemnitsa, a small village in the countryside.  There is a monument that stands on a mountain to honor a war fought against Turkey & on it, the family name, Frentsos, is engraved—I was planning on just taking a few photos, but I felt like this story deserved more.

Here is the video documenting our journey to find the family monument in Stemnitsa, Greece.

I love being an aunt, and I REALLY love creating home videos for my nieces and nephews to enjoy when they are older.

My dad is an artist.

He has lots of different mediums through which he expresses his creativity. He loves to play guitar, he loves to paint and take photos. His primary creative outlet, is drawing.

I like to think I share his heart for self expression and his need to get creative energy out into the world.

My mom is the ultimate people person.

She loves to encourage people and help them to achieve their goals. She is selfless in pursuit of overcoming obstacles that stand in her way. She will do whatever it takes to support and encourage another person, business or goal that she has.

These specific characteristics of my parents have turned me into the photographer that I am today, and the one that I strive to be tomorrow. Because of them, I think creatively and personably.

"What can I do to make you feel more like yourself in front of the camera?"

"How would I want to be photographed in this situation?"

I love to connect with my clients and make them feel like we are already good friends at their session.
